For some reason Wordpress is not letting me respond to comments individually, so:
@ Amanda- ah, homeostasis. What a lovely word :) Thank you veru much.

@ Heidi- Yes, we have to just keep on trucking, be strong, and never ever give up.

@ Melissa-Thank you so much for your thoughts and for the video. Adaptability is my new goal. Strong is secondary to adaptable, I am beginning to think.

@ Kim-I know you, my friend, are all too familiar with the trials and tribulations of injury. Thank you for all the kind words.

@ all-I am so humbled and grateful by all the outpouring of support and good wishes that I have received; here, on Twitter, and on Facebook. We truly have a community of incredible individuals.

I should get my results today. I will keep you all posted!

"The human ability to adapt."

Yeah! I love that. Great post, Erin and I loved the TED video. You will adapt in strong and powerful ways! One of my heros is Matthew Sanford. I've taken some yoga teacher training from him and there are few people more powerful than Matthew. He's in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the chest down. He's amazing. Full of grace and a gifted yoga teacher. One of the best.
Peace, love and adaptability!

I love your spirit Erin and I feel the exact same way. We've had several health blows this year too and it knocked me down for a little while too. Like you said though, I just had to shake myself up, dust myself off and start moving again! Attitude is everything and I choose joy over sadness.

I absolutely love the video, thanks for sharing it!
