PS- You can make no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies with the Chocolate Shakeology too! Yummmmmm! I have a great recipe~What could be better?

INGREDIENTS:
8 Tablespoons PB2 (powdered peanut butter from: http://www.bellplantation.com
3 Tablespoons Natural Peanut butter ( I like Parker's Farm)

½ Cup Shakeology Protein Powder

3 Tablespoons Raw Honey
½ Cup Gluten Free Oats

DIRECTIONS:
Mix PB2 with water until it’s a paste like consistency. Mix all ingredients, including the PB2 mixture together in a mixing bowl. It make take some time to blend all of the ingredients together. If it’s too sticky, sprinkle in additional Shakeology powder so that it’s a pretty dry/crumbly texture.
Next – Roll mixture into small individual balls (about a ping-pong ball size) and place on a wax sheet. Makes about 12 balls, 1 ounce each. Put in freezer until firm.
NUTRITION: (serving size 1 ball)
Calories: 80
Carbs: 10g
Fat: 2g
Protein: 7g

You can't actually heat Shakeology because it destroys the phytonutrients. Note: if you don't have the PB2, you could likely substitute just peanut butter, but the calories and fat will be different.

Our family uses Shakeology. It is Gluten Free and DELISH! My husband and I fight over the last scoop! I have a Gluten Intolerance and my son has Latent Celiac Disease coupled with Type 1 Diabetes.
Shakeolog has: Protein from whey.
• A whole bunch of Vitamins and minerals support optimum health.
• Antioxidants
• Phytonutrients to support immune function
• Prebiotics to support digestive and immune health.
• Digestive enzymes
We buy chocolate and we mix it with a TBS of Peanut Butter, a banana, almond milk, and ice! Super YUMMY and super healthy!

Hey Jacob!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I also have had good experiences with Isopure, although it has been quite a while since I've used it. Lactose intolerant people should be good with any true pure whey isolate, as the lactose by definition is removed in a whey isolate. (A whey concentrate can still contain some lactose.) A dairy intolerant individual *may* do fine with a whey isolate, but it can vary greatly, since it still does contain the whey part of the milk protein.

I am a lactose intolerant individual. Currently I am using Isopure's whey protein powder to supplement my workouts (Les Mills Pump, P90X). I've tried dutch chocolate and the vanilla flavors, both which I really liked. I haven't had a setback since switching over to Isopure. The protein (50g) and vitamins have really helped me grow and maintain my body. Although somewhat costly ($75 and up), I would recommend this line for those who cannot process dairy with ease.

Just a note on the wheat and barley grass, for those who are eating gluten free because of Celiac I would be careful. The problem is that many Celiacs are also highly allergic to these and don't know it and these grasses could be fatal. So I would definitly avoid. Also Body by Vi labels as GF, but on their box there is an allergy warning that their product that states it is produced in a facility and on equipment that products many things including wheat. So there is no way they can make that claim. There is too big of a chance of cross contamination to take a chance!

For those looking for a high quality, gluten free protein that's excellent for cooking may I suggest Prograde's Whey Protein powder.
It's formulated using low temperature micro-filtered and ion-exchanged whey protein isolates for unparalleled purity.
It does not contain artificial sweeteners and is naturally sweetened with stevia. It is produced using non-GMO ingredients and is free of growth hormones.
Each serving contains 24g of protein and only 2g of carbohydrates.
It's available in three delicious flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate and Orange.
I've tried several recipes using this versatile and delicious protein powder from smoothies, to cookies to snack sized protein bars and the results have been really impressive.

There's a new gluten free protein powder, with a great twist: half its 30 grams of protein comes from collagen! Along with the muscle building benefits of whey, you get collagen's support of healthy skin, connective tissue and cartilage throughout the body.

Its called Collagen Sport, and its made by NeoCell. It is sugar free, gluten free, lactose free, and does not contain artificial sweeteners, flavors, or fillers. I contacted the company and confirmed it is a GMP facility. NeoCell is family owned, and specializes in collagen products.

Each serving has 30 grams of protein, 123 calories, half a gram of fat. It has vitamins, minerals and pomegranate extract.

I have tried both the Belgian Chocolate and French Vanilla flavors, both are mild and delicious, and mix well with fruit, etc. I find it mixes with a spoon.
